Haines, AK

We’ve arrived in Haines, Alaska! We had 15 hours of travel time yesterday to get to Juneau, followed by a 4.5 hour ferry today on the Alaska Marine Highway.

There’s snow on the ground, but rain falling. There have been thick, low clouds making photography a bit more challenging. I did manage to take some pictures on the way up. No, they’re not in black and white…just no sunshine at all. We’ve seen 3 eagles so far, but they were off in the distance. The large numbers and closer proximity come tomorrow.

Anyways, I’ll bore you all to tears if I go through the details of travel, so here are a few starter pictures.
