Today was a day at sea. Pleasantly uneventful.

One of the things that has gotten our attention here in Japan is the toilets. I know that is not what you were expecting to read, but it is true. We in the US apparently have low tech toilets. In Japan in our hotel and on the cruise ship (which has been revamped to fit a Japanese crowd since we were last on it in Alaska) there are very high tech toilets. Seriously. Touchpad controls, heated seats, various nether-region washing settings, and even a massage setting. I’m a bit afraid to try any of it out.
