Last night we stayed at a cabin at Old Faithful. This meant that we got to eat breakfast (all take away, to be eaten outside) watching Old Faithful erupting. Not bad timing.

We walked around geyser hill near Old Faithful.

We decided to go to the overlook for Grand Prismatic. Best decision! It is a 1.2 mile walk each way, but the view is amazing. At ground level you can’t see the geyser because of the steam, but once you get above it you have a wonderful view!

Afterwards we headed over to Biscuit Basin. This was the prettiest geyser there.

When driving around, we found a few elk.

We decided that we were awfully close to Idaho. Paul had never been to Idaho, so we crossed the state line, drove around for a while, and headed back to Montana.
We spent the night at an Under Canvas camp. Very nice and not your typical camping. Most of their normal activities are shut down because of covid, but we were able to walk on the trails on the property.

Not as many pictures today as much of our time was driving.
