Paris Christmas Markets

We started the day in Budapest and ended the day in Paris.

Most of the morning was spent in transit and we didn’t get fully settled in Paris until late afternoon as we had to get our French COVID passes to be able to do anything (and you can no longer do this in advance online).

We made it to the Christmas Market at the Tuileries. These are the gardens by the Louvre. There is a permanent small amusement park there and the market is interspersed with that.

The ice rink could use a zamboni
look at these cheeses!

After that we walked down the Champs-Elysées to the Arc de Triomphe. They have the Champs-Elysées all lit up with red trees.

I promise I wasn’t standing in the middle of traffic to take this picture!

We also managed to catch the Eiffel Tower during one of its hourly sparkle light shows.
