This was a nice relaxing day. 

We left Wadi Rum after breakfast and headed to Aqaba, which is on the Gulf of Aqaba/ Gulf of Eilat, which is off of the Red Sea. At this northern end of the gulf are three important cities: Taba in Egypt, Eilat in Israel, and Aqaba in Jordan. The borders of these countries are very close together at this point.

Our hotel is on the beach and has a great view.

I really like the flowers of the bottle brush trees.

We explored around some and checked out the water.

I had to be sure to get my feet in the Red Sea. The water is cold and there was a cold wind, so swimming was not an option in my book.

No sightseeing today, just relaxing and enjoying a beautiful day.
