Today was all about waterfalls. All the waterfalls. All in one. The Iguazu Falls.
The Iguazu Falls are a collection of approximately 275 waterfalls in a waterfall system on the Iguazu River on the border between Brazil and Argentina. These make up the largest waterfall system of the world.

We visited the Brazilian side of the falls today, so we saw the Argentinian falls on the other side.

This South American coati was along the walking trail at the falls.

That tour boat was going under the falls repeatedly. We decided to pass on that option.

This is a tarantula hole. You can see a web overlying it.

A roadside hawk (that is the name of the bird, not the location) that we saw perch hunting. Not the best picture.

We saw a couple of agouti, which are rodents that are about 8 lbs.

Crested caracara with a snack.

I walked out on the boardwalk to get a view of the Devil’s Throat, the largest of the falls here with the most water flow. You can see it behind me. There was mist everywhere with multiple rainbows.

Looking the other direction down the river.

Another view of the falls at this end, with the Devil’s Throat making up the curve at the left.

Another coati begging for food at the exit of the falls.
After we finished up on the Brazilian side of the falls we went for a short jaunt over the border into Paraguay.

We drove through Ciudad del Este and then went to see another waterfall.

This is the Monday Falls on the Monday River.

These flowers and berries were tiny.

View from the bottom of the falls.
