Iguazu Falls day 2

We were back at the Iguazu Falls today, but on the Argentinian side today.

We had loud thunderstorms with heavy rain overnight, but it was just cloudy today.

We had to walk across the boardwalk on a long boardwalk across the Iguazu River to get to the falls.

That is all mist from the falls.

Since we were in Argentina we were looking at the falls in Brazil.

We saw a Toco toucan high up in a tree. These are the largest toucans.

We also got a really good look at the Devil’s Throat.

We also walked along the falls on the Argentinian side.

Another toucan way up in a tree.

Black capuchin monkeys at lunch were hanging out ready to steal food.

After lunch we went to a hummingbird center.

The birds were beautiful, fun to watch for a while,…and one of the more challenging animals to photograph.

From there we went to the point where the borders of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay come together, referred to as Tres Fronteras.

Not the most picturesque, but it isn’t everyday that you can be at the borders of 3 countries. The river heading out into the distance is the Paraná. Paraguay is on the far side. The river on the lower right corner is the Iguazu. Brazil is on the right and Argentina is on the bottom.
